The ideal clearance between the top of the bed rails on the truck and the bottom of the loft on the trailer is indeed around 6". The Pro Series Weight Distribution System # 49570 you mentioned only has a maximum 2 inch drop with the shank that comes with the system. You most definitely need a longer shank for the height of your truck compared to your trailer coupler height. I checked with Ark and they informed me that their Drop Down Corner Stabilizer set part # AR34FR will work great on your 2015 Passport Grand Touring Ultra Lite but these jacks do not have a weight capacity. This is what they sent me:
